When working on long term projects, if at all possible, try not to update the project file, OS, or hardware until that project is complete. I can give you some advice for future projects. You may want to work with support to see if there is any way to salvage your current project so that you would not have to go through the pain of redoing work. I apologize for all the issues you are having. The appropriate staff will read your bug report and take note of any comments you have. You can file all your complaints in a bug report using the same form. It's not an inconvenience, it is bad business. I pay for this program to do my job and now I am can't do that without doing my job twice. To say I am inconvenienced by this is an understatement. If you have a desire for backward compatibility, you can file a feature request here. This means every effect in the 130 minutes of sequences I have cut will be gone.įor going back to a previous version? No, there isn't.ĭoes Adobe not have an entire team of people whose job is to make this product work? Yes, if you need to revert to using the FCP XML file, as no backward compatibility exists for Premiere Pro. Now I find out that only the cuts are preserved? I am on a deadline and I need to keep moving forward, and the only option is to revert to CC 2014.ĭid you open a case with support? Do you have a case number you can send to me? I have tried the proposed solutions - changing the audio preferences, incorporating soundflower, changing latency, and so on and so forth but to no avail.

I upgraded my Mac OS, and I am suddenly experiencing the same audio difficulties as everyone else.

I made the switch to Premiere Pro 2015 and worked several months without a problem on a very big project. If you are OK with this, select all in the Project panel and choose File > Export > Final Cut Pro XML. Most people having trouble are those that updated project files from CC 2014 to CC 2015, and that is not recommended.īut my problem now is how do I open my CC 2015 projects with multiple sequences, effects, etc., in CC 2014 and have them be exactly the same and be able to continue working on them where I left off?Īs I alluded to earlier, you can bring over all the edits, but the effects, etc.

Not everyone, though it sure seems like it with all these posts! For example, I'm having a great time with it on my 2012 Mac Book Pro. Yes, there are reports that some people are having a lot of trouble.

I was told there were issues with CC 2015 that are being worked on and to roll back to Premiere Pro CC 2014 until they are resolved. There is no true backward compatibility in Premiere Pro if that's what you were expecting.

You can export a FCP XML from CC 2015 to import into CC 2014.2, but only your cuts are preserved. Hello! I have been using Premiere Pro CC 2015 and having lots of problems with it, the main one being it crashing in the middle of working and not always saving my work.
